I can prepare my clients for what’s to come in the months ahead. The year starts off with both Mercury and Mars in retrograde, plus Saturn in reverse motion from mid month. As a consequence, January might feel a little slow, but don’t be fooled because the year ahead is likely to be quite exciting, and possibly even dramatic.
Over the course of the 2010, several of the slower moving planets will be changing signs – more than once! Jupiter skips from Aquarius to Pisces to Aries and then back to Pisces. Saturn begins the year newly installed in Libra, but returns to Virgo in April where it remains until the end of July, when it heads back to Libra. Likewise, Uranus continues through Pisces until the end of May, enters Aries on the 28th and then is back in Pisces between August 14th and December 6th. So, there will definitely be some back and forth going on.
April 26th and July 26th mark the last two oppositions between disciplined Saturn and innovative Uranus. This planetary tug of war was already a big theme of 2009, and fortunately, any lingering doubts regarding what to let go of and what to hang onto will finally be resolved in the latter part of the year. Jupiter also opposes Saturn twice, on May 23rd and then on August 16th. In this case Jupiter’s expansive dreams can be either demolished as fantasy or carefully honed into shape with the help of some patient and realistic Saturn energy.
Jupiter and Uranus make two tight aspects, once in Aries on June 8th and then in Pisces on September 19th. The unusual movement of these planets means that these two conjunctions are out of sequence – Pisces should precede Aries! Don’t be surprised if a thrilling new opportunity that appears in June has to undergo a complete rethinking before materializes according to your vision.
It will be a topsy-turvy year in which we will all be strongly affected by the erratic planetary movements. Don’t worry, as I will be giving you more specific information in your weekly forecasts as to how this star turbulence will affect you.
